Chuck Ammond

Engineering

Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master in Business Administration. He teaches Renewable Energy, Automation, and Electronics at Muskegon Community College. As a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installation Professional he has designed and installed 100 small-wind, solar electric, energy storage, and solar hot water systems. He enjoys outdoor and fashion inspired photography.

 

Gary Gage

PV Installation Professional

Gary Gage has been involved in the solar industry since 2013. Starting out, he was designing and building off grid systems for remote locations in high altitude applications in Colorado. Gary has been involved in range from small remote hunting power supply systems of less than 600 watts to large grid tied systems of up to 1 megawatt. Gary has received formal training from Solar Energy International in off grid and grid tied solar systems as well as solar thermal. He is currently NABCEP certified as a PV Installation Professional and is a licensed residential builder. Gary holds a Master’s Degree in Carrier and Technical Education as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering Technology. Gary lives in the Newaygo area enjoying his free time with his family and friends and doing various outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. He is actively involved in his church and the surrounding community, donating his time whenever possible.

 

Randy Peters

Construction Manager

Randy is currently in the Wind and Solar Technology Certificate program at Muskegon Community College. He has over 30 years of experience in the machining industry – programming, installing, developing and trouble-shooting various aspects of production design to customer specifications. Randy loves his cattle dog and dabbled in disc dog competition, he enjoys hunting and fishing. Randy and his wife are active members of their church.

Harvey Feyen

Master Electrician

I started in the electrical field right out of high school and have worked on a variety of types of construction projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential. My wife and I enjoy camping and traveling, and spending time with our children and grandchildren.

Cole Maxson

Service Tech / Small Off Grid Expert

Cole currently holds an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and a Wind and Solar Technology Certificate through Muskegon Community College. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering through Ferris State University while working for Agathon Solar. He has 5 years of experience working with electronics, including troubleshooting, programming, and system design. Cole enjoys interacting with people, as they always have an interesting story. In his free time, he enjoys gaming, kayak-fishing, skiing, and traveling.

Greg Oliver

Business Development

Greg is a graduate of Thornwell Presbyterian Divinity College. He is a licensed residential builder with experience in project management and the use of a myriad of computer platforms and systems. Greg has been in the renewable energy industry since 2015 and in a variety of roles. He is married with three children and enjoys reading the Puritans, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
